For the past 27 years, the YWCA has been celebrating the women in our midst who have distinguished themselves in the areas of social and racial justice and/or who have devoted themselves and their work to the empowerment of women. They are the unsung heroes who have made significant contributions to their community. To date, we have honored more than 1,000 exceptional women.
