About the Program

Quality, affordable healthcare is critical to everyone, but especially for women and women of color, many of whom have inadequate health care coverage or no health care coverage at all.

Our Women’s Health Equity program empowers underserved women and girls to take charge of their own healthcare. Through our education, outreach, and financial assistance, the YWCA’s Women’s Health Equity program works to reduce persistent health disparities related to poverty, ethnicity, and social status.

With the help of our supporters, we have provided 850 uninsured or underinsured women with breast and cervical cancer screening.

How You Can Help

Mammograms can cost an uninsured woman more than $300. Please donate today to help offer women life saving cancer screening.
